BrainsRule! web site is your place to find fun
and exciting ways to
teach your students about the brain and
neuroscience.
We
have collected some of our favorite Brains Rule! Exposition
activities and translated them to a lesson plan format for
use in your classroom. Each plan is matched with one of our
“games” so that the classroom experience can be
bridged and extended with an on-line activity that can be
done outside the classroom in an extracurricular setting.
We
have also included some of our favorite neuroscience curricular
resource links for you to surf. Check out the “NIDA
Goes Back to School”, provided by the National Institute
on Drug Abuse (which funds the Brains Rule! project) for great
teaching materials. Parents will also find this resource link
handy for the latest research findings on drug abuse and addiction.
