Brains Rule! Partners |
| National
Partners are organizations which
have members throughout the United States. They may
assist with recruitment of members to assist at Brains Rule!
Expositions by facilitating contacts with chapters or members
at the local (regional) level. Or, they may provide
resources to use or distribute at an Exposition. National
partners are also used as a conduit to disseminate Brains
Rule! activities nationwide. |

Occupational Therapy Association |
| The
American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA),
a professional organization of occupational therapists
representing the profession to the public, promoting
public understanding of the value of occupation and
access to occupational therapy services. |

Physical Therapy Association |
| The
American Physical Therapy Association, Neurology Section
(APTA-NS): a component of the larger APTA, a professional
organization of physical therapists representing the
profession to the public. The Neurology section numbers
approximately 3800 therapists who deal with prevention
and treatment of impairment and disability related
to neurologic injury and diseases, and the societal
barriers to function. |

American Association of Neuroscience Nurses (AANN),
a professional organization of over 3000 registered
nurses and other health care professionals dedicated
to improving the care of the neuroscience patient
and to furthering the interests of health professionals

Foundation for Biomedical Research (FBR), established
in 1981 to improve the quality of human and animal

to promoting the full inclusion of children and adults

Office on Neuroinformatics (ONI), the National Institute
of Mental Health, which coordinates and provides leadership
to the interagency Human Brain Project, a broadly
based federal research initiative sponsored, in a

from four federal agencies. |
